Our purpose
saveyourmoney publishes practical English-language guides about third-party sweepstakes, rewards, samples, gift cards and everyday savings for U.S. adults. We aim to make source terms easier to read without replacing them.
How we select offers
We consider relevance, clarity of terms, sponsor identifiability, eligibility, timing and the availability of official source documents. A commercial relationship may influence whether and where an offer appears. It does not remove publication requirements.
Required verification
A live record must include a sponsor, official rules, sponsor privacy policy, destination, deadline and time zone, eligibility, entry method and last verification date. Links must use HTTPS, and outbound destinations must match an approved host list.
“Last verified” means an editor checked the configured source fields on that date. It does not mean we audited the sponsor's internal systems, entered the promotion or confirmed fulfillment.
Expired and stale offers
A live offer older than the verification window fails production validation. An expired offer loses its outbound entry action and is removed from current lists. We may retain a clearly marked historical page with noindex for context.
Editorial and sponsored labels
Editorial guides are selected for reader usefulness. Sponsored and Partner Content labels identify commercial involvement. A “Partner offer” label identifies a paid card placement. Compensation can affect position or inclusion, and that influence is disclosed.
No invented experience
Editors do not say they entered, used, tested or received something unless that activity actually occurred and can be documented. We do not create fake testimonials, recipient stories or popularity counters.
Reviews and verification articles
A rules check explains what source documents support, what conflicts were found and what remains unknown. An affiliate relationship does not predetermine the conclusion. When evidence is insufficient, publication remains paused or the article states the limitation.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected promptly, with the updated date changed when appropriate. If an error affects eligibility, deadline, sponsor identity, privacy or destination safety, the offer is paused while the source is rechecked.
